In response to the great number of offers to volunteer at the Library, we have developed a list of volunteer opportunities. These activities can be accomplished with minimal training. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please complete the form below. Staff will contact you.

Adopt-A-Shelf. Maintain the appearance and order of a range of books on a weekly basis. Click here to see the flyer.

Director of Donations. Manage the continuous supply of donated books. Click here to see the flyer.

Homebound Delivery. Deliver materials to those that are unable to visit the library. Must be 18 years of age or older. Click here to see the flyer.

Refresh-A-Book. Recover items with new book covers when appropriate or simply clean existing covers.

Paste-A-Review. Enhance the browsers experience by pasting a book review into our new books. Click here to see the flyer.

Indexer. Bring history into reach. Help index the birth, marriage, and obituary announcements in the Hillsdale Herald. Major articles too!. Click here to see the flyer.

Mail Room. We handle over 17,000 packages through the interlibrary loan service annually. Wow. Click here to see the flyer.

Teen Tech Tutors. Teens may sign up to teach adults basic computer skills. This activity requires parental permission and an orientation training session. Click here to see the flyer.

Door Counter for a Day. Help us collect attendance statistics for the annual State Report.

Litter Patrol. Keep the grounds free of debris. Bags provided!
